something about this track gets in me a soft spot. I think the 2ndary chorus is my favorite part.

I left my love in San Francisco (that’s okay, I was bored anyway)
I left my love in the room (that’s okay, I was born in L.A.)

glad to not have any leftover love in sf. that land is too dense for me sometimes.
mothers day/judgmental
mothers day is one of those days where I realize/remember that a lot of people I know that I think are oddly troubled actually lost their moms at a pretty young age.
i can’t say that was the ultimatum factor that made them who they are today, but it fills in a lot of blanks, and it reminds me how much I don’t know about the people I think I know.
note to self: you don’t know anyone’s full story. ever.
2nd note to self: growing up with loving friends and family is wildly important.
chill on the judgement homie
When I was about 6 my parents went to take me to see Casper, you know the creepy “kids” movie with Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman. There was one theater my parents went to and looking back on it, it was a real rundown mess. This theater we went to was huge and looked like a stage theater…
I’m pretty sure this is what most girls see when they see me.

I had a girl recently compliment me and tell me that she likes guys that have the “coked out” look, and after I shaved my beard, she said she had “liked the hobo look” that I had.
hahaha.
I guess thats a couple of ways of describing it.
no one ever talks about the fetishes that girls have.
shieeet.
although it doesn’t particularly concern me, it is weird realizing that you often are fit into a bigger category thats been pre-approved.
