mothers day is one of those days where I realize/remember that a lot of people I know that I think are oddly troubled actually lost their moms at a pretty young age.

i can’t say that was the ultimatum factor that made them who they are today, but it fills in a lot of blanks, and it reminds me how much I don’t know about the people I think I know.

note to self: you don’t know anyone’s full story. ever.

2nd note to self: growing up with loving friends and family is wildly important.

I had a girl recently compliment me and tell me that she likes guys that have the “coked out” look, and after I shaved my beard, she said she had “liked the hobo look” that I had.

notes to remember.

any girl that is drunk and constantly asks you to take photos of her with different friends, is more than likely going to ask you to delete all the photos the next day because of how drunk she looks. avoid these people
people that are staring at you with a hard look when you’re taking photos aren’t likely mad or annoyed, they’re hoping you’ll come and take a photo of them.
girls that are picky assholes about when you take a PLANNED photo can suck it. “WAIT DO ANOTHER, I WAS LAUGHING IN THAT ONE.” Yikes. Fine, enjoy your plastic life. I’m giving you the one where you looked shitty.
people that aren’t socially active and energetic will be stoked if you give them something silly to do in a photo.
avoid letting people see their photos, once you start you don’t stop. taking photos is enough work.
include everybody
if you’re not using flash, MAKE SURE there’s a fair amount of light to avoid noise. camera monitors look much brighter, and its likely noisy and shitty at home.

there’s been a lotta times in my life when I noticed that most of the people in a close group of my friends grew up without a dad around, either from divorce, death, or distance.

i wonder what about that leads us together, and we’re all like, and we’re usually sensitive ass writers and shit, haha.

maybe the divorce has been at an all time high, and thats enough to cause it.
